Situation
Acute Respiratory Disease syndrome is a condition whereby a person’s lungs are injured, leading to the possibility of fluid getting into the lungs of the individuals (Mohlenkamp & Thiele, 2020). It leads to issues such as difficulty in breathing and reduces the oxygen supplied to the body. In addition to that, it leads to trauma to the patients needing a lot of medical care and instant hospitalization after it is discovered (Arnal et al., 2018). Some of the symptoms associated with the condition include faster breathing, an increase in heartbeat, pain as one takes a breath, and turning of bluishcolor to the nails of the person as the oxygen levels reduce in the body (Bugedo et al., 2017).
Problem
According to the United States data, it is estimated that there are about 190,000 patients in the United States every year. The rates have been growing over time which has made it necessary to diagnose the condition faster and reduce the number of patients who suffer from it. It also has no age span, which makes it a very dangerous condition, especially when it attacks at an early age. It can be prevented by vaccination against some respiratory infections such as influenza.

The first response that has been taken in curbing the illness is ensuring that there is maximum research done on the condition. There are also some measures, such as breathing mechanisms, that are used by patients to reduce the struggle in breathing (Yoshida et al., 2017).
According to Fischer, the best possible ways that the illness can be controlled is by inducing forced breathing using machines similar to the issue of COVID 19 patients (Fischer et al., 2018).
There is also the approach of using some vaccinations against some of the predisposing conditions, such as influenza who reduce the chances of a person falling ill with such a condition (WHO, 2020).

The condition has been very hard to treat despite the many approaches that the hospitals have taken to controlling it. It is estimated that less than half of the people who are admitted to the hospital with the condition hardly make it out of the admission (Hsu et al., 2021).
Evaluation
Based on the conditions expressed above, the impacts of the condition are very bad and may lead to a severe loss of lives if not controlled. the treatment is also laborious and expensive, which makes it even harder for the people who are sick to have a good way of treatment. Since the condition can be treated using a similar approach as COVID 19, the government may apply some similar measures which will reduce the number of deaths caused by the condition.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the issue needs to be controlled in several ways to reduce the negative impacts that the condition has. It should also be clear that some measures similar to those of COVID 19 can be applied to reduce the threats of the condition..
