There are many virtues in which human beings could excel and demonstrate their potential as human beings. More importantly, the values learned from the growth of a human being are those that give them the strength to meet the requirements that these virtues need. Possessing moral virtues would help in your daily performance to start a positive day in which it will be full of tasks. Every human being has both positive and negative virtues that will show them what kind of person they are. The ethics of virtues is a broad term in which it has some ideal character. “These traits derive from natural internal tendencies, but need to be nurtured; however, once established, they will become stable” (IEP, 2021). For a person who can meet these requirements should be gentle and not pretend to be. People with positive virtues are acquired by good parenting at an early age since this gives a lot of influence when the person enters the age of youth to be able to apply their values to society. “Aristotle argues that each moral virtue is a sort of mean lying between two extremes. One extreme involves a deficiency of the virtue in question, the other extreme involves possessing it to excess” (Westacott, 2018). We must take into consideration that if we are very exaggerated or nothing is done, society will observe us as people with inappropriate ethical virtue. Therefore, we should keep intermediate in order to meet these requirements.
