Yes, an obvious basis of legitimacy is that some relationship exists between the Oman rainfall enhancement and the stakeholder, such as exchange transactions or joint participation in value creation. The project management may be significantly responsible for a stakeholder’s well-being. A moral claim also constitutes legitimacy. Through communication and planning for the completion of the project at various stages, taking into account the time in implementation.

By Identify the project stakeholders and understand their key.

Personal significance:

My daily life as an IB student requires me to have energy and be well rested for me to perform in the different areas of my life. Both in social circumstances and in school. This energy and well rest does not always come hand in hand with the many life tasks imposed, and thus “energy substitutions” such as caffeine is often used as a replacement for the recommended 8 hours of sleep. In my social circumstances through the years, I have noticed an increase in the amount of energy drink consumed by my peers and friends. It was not until I was introduced to how humans respond to certain ingredients in biology that I got aware of the possible benefits of energy drink. Thus, I was curious about if the energy drink does influence our ability to perform. The purpose of my investigation is to disclose if there is a contribution benefit of energy drink on performance.

Research question:

How does consumption of energy drink influence the reaction time? Not focused – not detailed enough

Reaction time:

Reaction time is a measure of how fast an organism responds to a given stimulus. (1)

There are studies where different factors such as ex. age, music and distractions have shown to have a significant influence on the reaction time. Reaction time can be measured in several different ways. “Simple reaction time” experiments are where there is only one stimulus leading to only one response.

If the consumption of energy drink is increased, then the reaction time will also increase. This is because energy drink contains high amounts of Taurine and caffeine. The results from table 1 and 2 show that there is a small difference between the results before and after consumption of energy drink. The graph depicts that there is downward sloping trend in reaction time, meaning that for each cup of energy consumed the reaction time increases.

The t-test results show that the t value for the difference in two set of data is 0.54 which is smaller than the critical value 2.086, the results are therefore not significantly different. The t-test showed that there is a possibility that the difference between reaction time with and without energy drink occurs due to chance is more than 5%. The t-test table is fully shown in Appendix 2.

Discussion:

The results showed that there was no significant difference between reaction time before consumption of energy drink and under influence of energy drink. This indicates that the null hypothesis, that predicted there would be no significant difference in reaction time when under the influence of energy drink consumption, is accepted and the alternative hypothesis is rejected.

The tcalc (0,54) is smaller than the tcrit (2,086), thus, there is a possibility that the difference identified in the results occurred due to chance. Hence the null hypothesis is not rejected, and the results does not support the alternative hypothesis. There is no significant difference in reaction time when under the influence of energy drink consumption.

Although the results of this experiment do not show a statistically significant difference in reaction time, consumption of energy drink may have had an impact on other biological abilities. Examples of this can be an increase in heartbeat, due to the high amount of caffeine and taurine. (source)

To gain a better understanding of the impact the “Peculiar” Institution of enslavement had upon the African community of New York and the development of its progress, please review the following information to inform your understanding of Discussion Board assignment ?#6. There are two parts to this assignment.

PART ONE/POST ONE:

1- Each scholar will read the history of the African Burial Ground Monument as outlined in Module 6 (6.2). Follow the instructions as outlined in that section by watching the first two short overviews of the burial sites (approximately 10 mins total) then write a response to the following:

Prompt: Briefly explain the importance of the African Ancestral Monument itself (in general) and then identify any two aspects of the Monuments overall design that stood out to you and why.

PART TWO/POST TWO:

2 – Next, review all the information from either website A or B as instructed in section 6.3 – 6.3.2 (links listed below). (Section C is optional – not required).

3 – Then each scholar will view Video Part 1 (Mandatory), which outlines the early history of the African presence in the making of New York.

As stated below #4 is optional, however I recommend that scholars watch one of the two videos to help inform your answer to the following prompt:

Address the following questions in two paragraphs.

Prompt – What meaning does the African Burial Ground have in explaining the role of the institution of slavery in developing the prominence of New York? What was different about the opportunities and constraints Africans experienced in the North at that time and what value does the African Burial Ground tell us Africans had in the city of New York? What does it mean to have this sacred place deemed the first National Historical Landmark dedicated to Africans in America and how does it change (if at all) your understanding of American history?

4 – Scholars can watch video(s) Part 2 and/or 3 for extra credit. (THIS IS OPTIONAL)

Video Part 2 – Continues African abolitionism efforts and post American Revolution achievement of emancipation and ongoing quest for equal status in New York.

Video Part 3 – Outlines the African American communities’ efforts to stop the excavation of the burial site and fight to have their ancestral grave site honored.
