Prior to coming up with an evaluation plan, go back to your graded Unit 4 and Unit 6 assignments and read your instructor’s feedback. Make any recommended changes to your intervention plans before developing an evaluation plan.
Evaluating Your Intervention Plans:
Begin your evaluative essay by describing how single-subject experimental designs are used in behavior analysis to evaluate interventions. Include one reason why single-subject designs are considered superior to group designs in evaluating behavior change. Then, describe your evaluation plan for the two intervention plans you selected.
Each evaluation plan must include:
1. The measurement system you are using to collect data on what specific behavior(s). Include the operational definitions.
2. How often you are collecting data
3. Who is going to collect that data
4. The research design you are using to evaluate your treatment
5. An explanation of why that research design was the best choice
6. How the research design would demonstrate functional control of the intervention over the behavior(s).
7. Describe how you will know if your treatment was effective – what would a visual analysis of the graphed data show? You do not need to create a graph, but you should describe what your graph would show if your treatment were effective.

One of the main goals of this course is to consider
One of the main goals of this course is to consider sociocultural factors in the history and philosophy of psychology. In this activity, you get to demonstrate you know what this means and provide an example. Of course, APA style, avoiding plagiarism, information literacy, and doing research are also relevant to this activity.
In APA style, write a clear and thoughtful one page-long reflection on one of the following:
A) a concept in cognitive psychology and how psychology’s understanding of that concept was shaped by sociocultural context,
OR
B) cultural variations in psychology by picking a country and writing about psychology in that country, and how psychology’s views are shaped by that specific sociocultural context.
I expect you’ll draw on outside research and define the concepts, sociocultural factors, and country you’re examining.
