Discussion: How to get a mentor

Each student will provide an initial response (4-6 sentences) to the Discussion Topic and then at least one comment ( 4-6 sentences) to someone else’s response. All responses MUST also be substantive and meaningful. No one word, one line, or Facebook style answers.

I realized and learned that every successful people have a mentor. Someone who can coach, guide and point out their blind spot for better performance and growth. For me it is important that mentor is someone who has what I want to have and agreed to teach me how I can get it. As human resources, it is a lot of leadership involve just like a mentor. You have to be able to connect, lead, and then teach or being an example to show them the way. As business operate, human resource department is the one that dealing with situation, problem, and people that they will either look up and follow or call it quit.
