7 Good Deeds

Good deed: I had cut ties with two of my closest friends after feeling betrayed by failing to show up on one of our family occasions. I decided to write an email to tell my friends am no longer hurt, and I value our friendship very much and love them very much.

Good deed: My neighbour is an elderly woman staying alone. The community loves her, and we all respect her very much. So when I was shovelling our driveway, I decided to shovel even my neighbour driveway to make it presentable.

Good deed: I was walking past our of our community field, which was filled with some litter due to a community occasion that had occurred that previous day. I am mindful of my planet, and I always try to make it sustainable and hence and decided to collect all some litter in that field and did put them in a bin. I felt good being part of those who care about our environment and try to mitigate all the negative effects of pollution.

Good deed: I decide to donate the unused and unwanted items to charity organizations that care about poor people. These were items that could be helpful to the hospice, and whatever they could not need, they could sell them to raise funds directed towards other sustainable needs of the organization. It felt good to know some people had who cannot afford the good had some access to these items.

Good deed: I was walking downtown, and I met a pregnant woman who carried heavy luggage, which was bothering her. I decided to give her a hand by helping carry the luggage as she told me to show just going around the corner. The lady was very appreciative, and I could tell the release she had with her smile after helping her carry something.

Good deed: I made an extra sandwich in my lunch pack. During lunch, one of my colleagues had forgotten hers, and I was happy to help. She was very appreciative and complimented that I save her day.

Good deed: I love the environment and always aim to restore its glory as before industrialization and other man activities that have destroyed our environment, such as deforestation. I decided to plant ten trees in our community, and around those trees, I fixed a poster requesting community people to ensure everyone plant at least one tree.

7 Meditation

Meditation: I was sitting in my room breathing deeply and opening my mind to experience love and kindness. All I could think about is the world filled with love and my family members, who I love very much.

Meditation: I focused on a flower to examine its fullest beauty. It stimulated my mind, and nothing more I could see except the luminous smell and colours of the flower. I was able to immerse myself and think about how such a small plant can display all the happiness in the world.

Meditation: I was depressed and decided to turn up my speakers so that I could absorb the music as much as I could. I wanted to feel the relief and forget about all the hardship, and I had gone through the week.

Meditation: I Felt very tired from having a busy week to the extent I could feel emotional pain in me. I was advised by one of my friends to go for a body scanning in a spa. I closed my eyes, took some time to sleep and as I woke up, everything was so normal and rejuvenated.

Meditation: I was searching for some answers to a project I was undertaking. I could not see any realistic way out of the closet. Then through the internet, I came across triangle meditation. I called my friend, and we had to practice this form of meditation through visualization of warmth and a source of light within. To achieve this, we imagined a world where there is no crime and everyone is a law-abiding citizen and without hate to depict the kind of joy that could be in our world.

Meditation: I was walking down the street on a quiet evening, and I could feel myself being fully present at the moment with no fear or stress. In this meditation, I could feel a great sense of action, feelings and control of thoughts. This made me go the extra effort of finding a lane in our community, a peaceful place where I could be practising walking meditation by a walk back and forth, lifting one foot, shifting the weight of the body and lifting my back foot. It has become my most preferred form of meditation where I keep emotional and physical health.

Meditation: my friend took me to a monastery where we could reflect on our self, our future and our friendship. In the place, the reflecting was not through sharing or talking but through total silence as we were eating mindfully, making it part of our meditation act.[supanova_question]
