Purpose

The purpose of this report is to provide an income statement and variance analysis report to share Modern Pet Shop’s performance of operation with stake holders. Stake holders should be paying attention to the company’s performance as well that the report will convey Modern Pet Shop’s cost volume – profit analysis, target profits, financial statements, variances, and income statements.

Methods and Approach

Modern Pet Shop uses the job orders costing system. The job order costing system is used to determine the cost of manufacturing an individual item or job and its profit. Ali in Cost and management accounting practices: a survey of manufacturing companies states that the most used costing method is job orders costing system. An individual might have multiple projects with one customer or several projects with multiple customers, but where an individual wants to track separately which of the projects are more profitable than others (Ali, 2010). The company make estimates about the value of materials, labor, and overhead that will be spent while doing that job. Efficient job order costing helps companies to create quotes that are low enough to be competitive but still profitable for the company. Ali This costing method is most appropriate to modern pet shop since each pet will require its own custom item and style. Quality of product and low competitive yet profitable prices is what will help Modern Pet Shop stand out from other competitors and aid our vision of becoming a worldwide company.

The AICPA membership adopted the Code of Professional Conduct to provide guidance and rules to all members in the performance of their professional responsibilities.

Annotated Bibliography: Dean Feedback

You’ve selected interesting articles to examine; however, your summaries of these works miss the mark in some places. For example, Maier’s “Is Cleopatra Black” wants to go about “dismantling the pervasive power of white supremacy,” and I don’t see that aspect reflected in your writing. You seem to be cherry picking ideas from these works that align with your academic positions rather than investigating and summarizing all of the pertinent pieces of this scholarship. Also, you don’t have correct APA citations for your bibliography. A Writing Center consultant or I could help you improve these facets of your bibliography.

Problem Statement: Dean Feedback

Your writing is usually clear and I understand that you are seeking to disprove Afrocentrism. However, you didn’t follow the directions for this assignment to number the paragraphs in alignment with the assignment prompt. Also, your problem statement thesis, which I assume is your last sentence prior to the Work Cited, is too broad and lacks clarity. You should focus and clarify your arguments as you continue to think through these ideas. https://onlyassignmenthelp.com/index.php/2021/11/28/present-and-study-a-network-that-you-will-create-yourself-2/ [supanova_question]
